The Kent Automatic Horizontal Curtain is a fire-rated system that deploys horizontally across large openings to provide effective fire protection. If not a Horizontal Curtain, we have to install 4 vertical type curtains across the void edge which will be increasing the budget. But by introducing horizontal; system it negates the use of multiple vertical systems making is commercially viable. Upon activation, the curtain is triggered by signals from the general fire alarm, smoke detection systems, or Building Management Systems (BMS). an independent UPS system is used to ensure the curtain remains operational during power failures. Once activated, the curtain automatically deploys to block the spread of fire and smoke, ensuring safe evacuation and maintaining the structural integrity of the warehouse.

The fabric, VWG690, has undergone rigorous testing, including a 500Pa Pressure Test and an Impact Test in accordance with BS 5234-2, meeting the requirements for double severe duty.
